Her training is stellar. Amara graduated high in her class at the renown Dental College of Georgia, and followed up dental school with a residency in General Practice – also in Augusta at the Dental College. The program at Augusta is one of the most difficult residencies to get accepted into. This postdoctoral training provides state of the art training in cosmetic dentistry, advanced restorative dentistry as well as implant dentistry. This training also involved in-hospital treatment of trauma patients, emergency medicine and training in the department of anesthesiology. She is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Dr. Amara is a graduate of the University of Georgia. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree, she then attended the renowned Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University and earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine and then continued her education in the General Practice Residency program. This postdoctoral training provides state-of-the-art training in cosmetic dentistry, advanced restorative dentistry as well as implant and sedation dentistry. This training also involved in-hospital treatment of trauma patients, emergency medicine and training in the department of anesthesiology.
Dr. Amara is certified in Digital Smile Design which allows Dr. Amara to plan your cosmetic dentistry treatment carefully, show you her vision, and predict treatment success. 3D images are taken of your entire smile prior to being uploaded into special design software. She is also a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. The ICOI provides more continuing implant education opportunities than any other implant organization, providing members with access to accelerated assistance for building implant dentistry into their practices.
Outside of the Boutique, Dr. Amara and her husband - who is also a dentist in the Atlanta area - love cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs. They have a golden retriever, Kirby, who they love to spend time with. She loves to travel and try new restaurants around town. You can always count on Dr. Amara to take care of all of your dental needs.
Dr. Patel has developed a passion for providing the best & most efficient care for his patients. He is an established dentist that came from a practice in north Georgia. His patients love him and his friendly chairside manner. He is known in the dental community for his quality dentistry.
He is an Atlanta native who has been a great addition to the Boutique for Cosmetic Dentistry team. After graduating from the University of Georgia, he returned to the prestigious University of Pennsylvania school of dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. Patel continued on to complete a General Practice Residency (GPR) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, an intensive postgraduate training program focused on complex comprehensive treatments including advanced cosmetic procedures, endodontics, oral surgery and implant dentistry.
Dr. Patel’s extensive training and experience provides our patients with the best treatment and care. He strives to make patients feel comfortable in the dental chair as well as building long-lasting relationships.
Outside of being at the Boutique, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and is proud to call Atlanta home.
Shannon Castro has been practicing for over 30 years. Shannon is so passionate about her patients, she treats them like family. She is originally from Florida but she currently resides in East Cobb with her 3 wonderful children and Husband. She loves what she does!
Amanda is our Dental Hygienist at the Boutique. She is a Georgia native and has worked in dentistry for 3 years. Her favorite part about being a Dental Hygienist is the overall end result and seeing how confident a patient is after their dental treatment. She is great at making sure patients are completely informed about their dental procedure and at home care. Outside of the office she loves working out and exploring what Georgia has to offer.
MJ is our lead dental assistant at the Boutique. She is a Georgia native and has worked in dentistry for 3 years. Her favorite part about being a dental assistant is the overall end result and seeing how confident a patient is after their dental treatment. She is great at making sure patients are completely informed about their dental procedure and at home care. Outside of the office she loves working out and exploring was Georgia has to offer.
Samantha’s favorite part about working at Boutique for Cosmetic Dentistry is meeting and getting to know different patients. Sam and her newly fiancé reside in Sandy Springs, GA. Sam loves visiting new restaurants, traveling, and spending quality time with her friends and family. With Sam’s warm and friendly personality you will forget about all of your dental fears at the door. She can’t wait to meet all of you!
Jannet is the office manager at the Boutique. She handles all internal operations. She implements new protocols and systems to always keep us up-to-date as well as handling insurance for every patient. She has been in the dental field for many years. She started her dental career as a dental assistant. With Jannet's extensive dental knowledge she is a great asset to our team.
Shannon is the creative force behind our practice. She has a true passion for networking with local businesses and getting to know our patients. Shannon graduated from Auburn University in 2018. She is passionate about all things Auburn, loves spending time with her family and friends, going to Lake Martin, and spending time with her pup, Shep.
